Seriously, thanks mod team for keeping shit together after we were suddenly thrust into the public eye via the corporatisation of chive posting.

We aren't meant to be customer facing.

One moment you are young and the next, you are on a toilet reading a post about those who mod posts about a guy who chops chives (almost every day) and is being talked about on LinkedIn by marketing execs after being featured in a Philadelphia cream cheese ad on reddit.

The executives next move is to slowly exploit Chives the cat as their next mascot. Act wisely

  3. Expanding the mod team you say?

It does get a bit rough around here sometimes. I’m not sure if it’s just the way my algorithm pushes this sub to me but just before our (Chive)Lord and Saviour (lol) started slicing leprechaun dicks, it was starting to feel like every other post was a ‘we lost another good one’ post.

Friggin’ hilarious and spot-on way to put it. But it has been kinda weird watching this sub turn into one big meme and go so mainstream for a moment over this strange, small pursuit of perfection in a mundane task that we all totally understand and relate to, but is ultimately meaningless, and unrelatable to most.
